The Police Unity Tour is a national cycling event dedicated to honoring law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Team York County participates annually to honor the memory and legacy of fallen York County officers and to raise awareness within the community.

Founded in 1997, the Police Unity Tour has grown to nine chapters and nearly 2,500 riders nationwide, donating over $38 million to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum. Team York County was established in 2020 and has since expanded to 10 riders and support personnel from agencies across York County.

Beginning May 9, 2026, Team York County will cycle approximately 300 miles over four days from New Jersey to Washington, D.C., adhering to the motto: “We Ride for Those Who Died.”
